I acquired this from a dealer who was handling the estate of van Vogt. The second image shows sign of van Vogt on front free end paper. - From REFLECTIONS OF A. E. VAN VOGT -...my interest in the Bates system for eye correction was fairly thorough. I read up on it, took some of their eye training, and finally I wrote a short novel titled THE CHRONICLER -- about the man with three eyes. This was printed in pocket-book form under the title, SIEGE OF THE UNSEEN.
